Congratulations to Bishop Kenrick Council 2256 for just being named a STAR COUNCIL for the third year in a row !! We were recipients of the Founder's Award, the McGivney Award and the Columbian Award for Charitable and Faith Programing. Help us build on our success for even greater things in the future!

OUR HISTORY AND HERITAGE
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.

We are the Bishop Kenrick Council of the Knights of Columbus based in Ardmore, PA. Brother Knights are active members in the following parishes:
- Our Mother of Good Counsel
- Saint Colman
- and Saint John Neumann
Our efforts support parish activities, community charities, and brother Knights.

Support Bishop Kenrick Knights of Columbus 2256 Today
Bishop Kenrick Council 2256 participating in Coats for Kids Drive
Every Winter children miss school or are unable to play outside because they do not have a warm coat to wear.
Our Council is participating in the Coats for Kids Program. Since 2009 the Knights of Columbus have provided over 1 million coats for children in need.
The money raised by our council will provide coats for the children at Saint Francis Cabrini School in West Philadelphia. Additional coats will be donated to local shelters. We also provided coats to Philadelphia emergency rooms to be given to children who present themselves without a coat.
In the past our council has provided over 1000 coats to children in need. Please use the QR code below or link below to donate.
